A Worthy Cookie Inc. is a consumer choice award-winning online cookie producer based out of Sturgeon County, AB; minutes away from St. Albert and Edmonton specializing in personalized French macarons, sugar cookies and cupcakes. We SHIP all of our SUGAR COOKIE products across CANADA and offer Edmonton and area delivery and pick up for all of our products.
Everything created in our licensed bakery is custom-designed from scratch with attention to detail, quality and customers’ needs. It is a pleasure to serve the greater Edmonton area with cookies for our team-building workshops.
About The Owners
Hello! We are Maria and Richard, husband and wife owners of A Worthy Cookie Inc. We love offering retail and wholesale services with personalized macarons, sugar cookies and cupcakes.
With the help of edible ink, our cookie studio daily elevates our hand-prepared confections into sweet little billboards and memorable tokens of appreciation.
We love collaborating with professionals, corporations and engaged couples to showcase their unique brands and visions in a way that will leave a lasting impression on their stakeholders and guests.
On a personal note, we are proud parents to our four kids who love to remind us every day that working with cookies is the best job in the world!

About Sugar Cookie Decorating Workshops for Team Building
Working with confectionary art is a dream job! We love coming to corporate groups (or private parties) with a fun team-bonding activity and watching the stress give way to smiles and comradery.
We offer 30-minute, 60-minute and 90-minute classes. The supplies include freshly baked sugar cookies, delicious icings, aprons and supporting tools. We do all the prep and clean-up!
The class is structured in a way to offer both technical guidance as well as opportunities for artistic freedom. At the end of the workshop, participants love packing up their creations to take home.

We keep hearing time and time again how our custom sugar cookies, French macarons and cupcakes taste different from the rest. What makes the difference is that we only use premium, natural ingredients and focus on traditional European methods. Whenever possible, we source local and Canadian-made ingredients to support the local farmers and communities.
Freshness, craftsmanship and attention to detail are key considerations in our cookie production to ensure our confections taste just as good as they look, if not better! This includes our gluten-free and vegan options to ensure your guests with dietary restrictions can enjoy cookies that taste just as good as everyone else.

Creative baking has been an artistic outlet for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Europe, I watched the women in my family make incredible sweets from scratch for every special occasion. Now that I have a family of my own, there is no shortage of special events needing equally special treats.
Before opening A Worthy Cookie in February 2022, I spent 20 years in corporate sales, where I developed my passion for facilitating workshops and customer service. Even though I traded my briefcase for an apron, helping corporate professionals with their promotional needs still remains dear to my heart. I understand it can be challenging to source meaningful gifts and entertainment activities while navigating a complex business environment.
